Notifications

Notifications keep you updated on important activities — chats, document sharing, financial events, and system updates — via email. Control exactly which ones you receive.

Managing notifications

Go to Settings → Notifications, review the categories, and use the toggle next to each notification type to turn it ON or OFF. Changes apply immediately.

Notification types

Team Activity

  • Unread chat messages — email when there are unread chat messages.
  • New shared document — email when documents are uploaded and shared.

Company Lifecycle

  • Package upgrades — email when the pricing plan or package changes.
  • Bookkeeping receipts — email for subscription or bookkeeping confirmations.

Financial Alerts

  • Bank re-authentication — alerted when a bank connection needs reconnecting.
  • Invoice approval — confirmation when invoicing is approved.
  • Report ready to download — notified when reports are ready.

FAQs

Can I turn off all notifications? Yes — disable all toggles; re-enable anytime.

Why am I not receiving notifications? The notification is turned off, email delivery issues, or the event wasn't triggered.
